As a large site for intaglio printing within the schlott gruppe, we specialise in the production of catalogues and magazines of very large print runs or page numbers. One of Europe’s state-of-the-art intaglio printers is available for your media production through u.e. sebald.

• 1658 u.e. sebald is founded in Nuernberg as Felsecker’sche (book) printers
  
  
• 1930 the Sebaldus group emerges around u.e. sebald after the takeover of the Meiller printers in Schwandorf
  
  
• 1937 u.e. sebald starts producing the first intaglio prints
  
  
• 1978 the offset printer heckel, founded in 1953, is taken over
  
  
• 1991 the group acquires sachsendruck in Plauen
  
  
• 1993 the group takes over the processing company hollmann in Lothringen
  
  
• 1997 an investor consortium buys the Sebaldus group and re-establishes it as a media service provider
  
  
• 2000 the Sebaldus group and the schlott AG in Freudenstadt join forces, initially under the name schlott sebaldus AG, which then becomes the schlott gruppe in 2003
  
  
• 2001 in November, only six months after the start of construction, the first rotation runs are done at the new site at the Nuernberg harbour
  
  
• 2004 in January, after just three years, the total relocation to the Nuernber harbour is completed.
